I like the environment, the food was good. They did took a while to bring the drinks. The cocktails were good. No complaints. Happy to have a spot like this close by home. They had a live dj.

AURA was fantastic! I can't wait to try it again!! The service was truly excellent - a welcoming hostess and personable, friendly and attentive staff - and they made us feel very welcome. The food was out of this world! For appetizers and salads, I could have tried every one of them. The Herbed Polenta Cakes were so tasty surrounded by an interesting and delicious corn melee which incorporates morsels of crunch, and the Burrata & Prosciutto Salad was a wonderfully unique combination of flavors (see photo). The Seafood Risotto and Gnocchi & Crab (see photo) were beautifully plated and incredibly flavorful. The wines by the glass offered were great - we had the Rioja and Bordeaux - served in modern high-quality stemware. Plus, the Saturday night music is super fun, spun by a cool DJ, giving the place a lively fresh vibe! With a birthday party at the table in the front window, we noted that it is a great, festive place for a birthday or a dinner get-together, with some larger tables and a raised platform area in the back. The parking was easy with street spots in the front and a parking lot behind the building, accessible via the restaurant's back door. Overall, AURA was a huge hit! There aren't that many times when a place is impressive on all fronts, but AURA was!! Highly recommend AURA!!!

Had an amazing time at this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, the environment was inviting, and the cocktails were both delicious and innovative. The vibes were fantastic, and the location is perfect. Definitely coming back soon!

I recently dined at Aura Restaurant Bar and Grill, and I must say, it was a wonderful experience! This gorgeous restaurant offers a tantalizing mix of Italian, Mediterranean, and Latin cuisine that truly caters to a variety of tastes. Our lovely server/bartender, Lauren greeted us promptly and helped us begin our evening with cocktails, and I opted for the Dragon's Aura, a crafted tequila cocktail that packed a bit of spice and featured delicious dragonfruit, all beautifully complemented by a black lava sea salt rim. My mom chose the Summer Passion, made with Tito’s Vodka, passionfruit, lime, mango and club soda, a perfect summer drink. For her second round, she tried the Lavender Haze, another Tito’s vodka drink, showcasing lovely blueberry and lavender notes. All three drinks were refreshing and set the tone for the meal ahead. I opted for a glass of cabernet with my meal. For starters, we couldn't resist the fennel pork meatballs, which were absolutely delicious, especially with the herbed ricotta sauce. The white wine mussels were super fresh and garlicky—just the way I love them! We also indulged in the crostini trio, which offered a perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors, making it an ideal appetizer. For our main course, we shared the linguine and clams. This dish was nothing short of stunning, with a perfect portion size, fresh ingredients, and a delicious parmesan garlic arugula cream sauce that left us wanting more. To top off our meal, we enjoyed a sweet treat: flan topped with blackberries for dessert. It was the perfect finish to an already wonderful dining experience. Beyond the food and drinks, the atmosphere at Aura is unique and lively, making it perfect for a date night, a girl’s night out, or any celebration. Chef Ceballos took the time to check on all the guests and introduce herself, which truly reflects the care and dedication that goes into the restaurant. I’ll definitely be returning to Aura! If you’re looking for a great spot for your next evening out, I highly recommend giving this place a shot!

Aura is a hidden gem in Hackensack with great ambience and good food . I went for a Sunday brunch with my family and that was awesome . I liked it so much that went back with girl friends for a birthday dinner - again awesome food, drinks and service. Must try Lychee Martine and wild Mushroom Arancini . The Aura spread were delicious too. The owners are super nice and always around making sure you are taken care of. I can see myself as a regular here.

This is an amazing bar I can’t believe I did not try to go here sooner! The cocktails are delicious, the bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly, the ambiance is edgy and reminds me of a higher end bar in Manhattan, and the menu has great food, I will definitely be returning!

The overall experience was top-notch, from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. The friendly staff made me feel right at home, and the delicious food exceeded my expectations. But what really stood out was the bartender - they were absolutely killing it behind the bar, mixing up some of the best cocktails I've ever had. I can't wait to come back and enjoy this fantastic ambiance again.
